The show’s well over now and has been aired on television so i think i’m safe to post my photos! All in all, the event went well and the producers were happy that they got what they were looking for. Unfortunately i was operating during show time so my photos are either of our line up grids or of the stock footage that was played whilst the DJ was on afterwards.

A good friend of mine, and fellow video technician by the name of Andy Hicks runs a similar blog over at andyhicks.co.uk
His site has just undergone a bit of an overhaul for (in my opinion) the better. Well worth the journey over there for some reading.
This is one for all those intel mac owners (which sadly doesnt include me yet). iAlertU is an anti-theft alarm for your computer with some nice features. It can be quickly armed/disarmed with the apple remote, takes photos of the thief with your isight camera then mails them to your email address. The alarm can be linked to mouse movements, key presses or (my favourite) to the inbuilt motion sensor.
